Welcome all to Open Spaces Exploration! This blog is a journey for me and the people I'm meeting who are living there ideas, ideology and dreams. In a society where consuming, constant media pressure to get every new gaget, it is difficult to stay grounded in the ideas we believed in as children and young adults. It is easier to follow the status quo but many people are not. This blog finds me in Skagway, Alaska enjoying the summer working for the National Park Service. It is a beautiful place and the people are great too.
You are invited to learn more about the people who are living successfully without having a regular nine to five job effortlessly. This word effortlessly is the key because this is what we all desire I believe. To do "our thing" with out headaches, worrying about bills or how to pay for a life style we are not really enjoying because of the long hours of work.
