New Friends in Skagway

What can I say except my Alaska experiences were more than I could have planned. I loved it. I'm sitting in the hostel in Juneau hanging out for two days before flying back down south. I will miss this place and the beautiful friendships I have discovered along the way. Kari Rain is this beautiful woman who is a true gem. Her smile and positive nature is the sunshine of Skagway. Even though clouds loomed large most of the summer Rain's smile and cheerful voice was the sun rays that kept my soul warm and vibrant.
Life is good.  YES, YES, YES
I met Emma Johnson a great teacher, educator and new friend. She is a femminest who isn't obvious. A natural woman making her way in the world.  Carol Ann, Sara Newman, Andera, Eleanor and Stephanie and Kara would round out the Artic Sisterhood of Skagway. What a group who push the boundaries, ask questions, show the world different ways of expressing love and doing it all with grace and style.
Beautiful people who have made my life richer and fuller. I thank you all for the brief five months I got to be in your midst.
