Yes imagine this was the only way into this area through a canal that took slaves two years to dig. I will tell you more with the pictures from the Somerset Place. Yesterday the weather was so nice. A little breezy to be on the lake but I will return. I hear the fishing is good too on this lake. It feeds into the Scuppernong River. I hope I spelled that right. So who is ready for the road trip and kayak or canoe campout.
