Fear the Turtle

It is that time of year again. Spring yes but March Madness. Fear the turtle baby! Of course my Maryland fans, family and folks still living in P.G. I'm rooting for them but we just don't have that deep of a team. However Rus I'm sure you are either for Penn or Syracuse. Or some Michigan team, well keep wishing. Though I need Michigan State to win for my bracket. I got to check. I do miss the metro area where I could watch Georgetown and Maryland play on their on courts. My bracket is busted thanks to Illinois getting upset by Western Kentucky. So this turtle popped his/her head out for some sun bathing yesterday. On the bank of one of the ponds located near the entrance of Cape Hatteras. A great day for sunning and surfing which is what many people were doing. So as we college basketball fans get caught up our brackets (I have Memphis taking it all) lets not forget with the budding of spring flowers and trees. So my challenge is for everyone to head outdoors and get a picture of there teams mascot in the wild. Yes go to your local park, national park and take a hike, canoe ride, kayak, fish or whatever gets the cardio going besides another team shooting lights out threes on your team. I do believe being here in North Carolina is so much fun. I love to dislike Duke at the same time I can't see the Tar Heels winning it all either.
Though I will be watching I will save it for night time enjoyment. There are still parks to see and the road trip next weekend is the Dismal Swamp. Where I hope all the teams end up that bust my bracket. Seriously I will get back to everyone on the starting and ending cost, where I stayed and all to do at the park. Oh yeah I got more visitors coming down to check out this barrier island. I love it when friends, family come check out the parks I work in. Julie and Kevin are coming down from Maryland to get in some sunshine. Those two have followed me all over the map. They came out to Arizona, then to Alaska and now down to the seashore. I guess I could go to Mars and see how many people come to visit. The other pictures are just folks out enjoying the wind and waves.
