They got me working day and night.

So it is June and you have not seen photos or heard the steady beat of my words raining down. I'm busy folks. Yes when you are getting outdoors and enjoying the Outer Banks plus working with the tourist its like a snow ball affect. Right now we are in full scale of planning and organizing the first trip for Open Spaces Exploration Summer Camp. Being the organizer, director and just about everything else is challenging and an experience. I must say Ronald Davis who is going to be our intern has been a constant in this project. He is making himself available this summer is committed to our youth. I have know him since elementary and he is like my god child to me.
We are headed up to Catocin Mountains this weekend to do a walk through of the site. Afterwards we will be heading to Assateague Island to actually check it out and just enjoy the sea shore. Did anyone know Cape Hatteras Seashore was actually the first national seashore and set the standard for others. Aslo the word Arondick means "bark eater" and that is the name the Iroquoi (Gulf of Saint Lawrence) gave the Algonkian speaking natives in their region who sometimes at of the fibers inside the birch trees. Well now you know. Reach one teach one. Whoever that one is. I find the older generation and some elders get to learn more and open their minds beyond this is what my parents did? So folks your stretch (meaning going out and doing something you would not ordinarily do out of fear or whatever) is to go outdoors and take a family member and either hike a trail, bike or organize a star gaze campout in your backyard with strangers. Yes strangers. I said a stretch. A from these encounters meet people and create a 10 relationship with them. My next post will be about people who are giving a service and are so not professional. Really. My people when you do business......well that is for a later date.
