Badwater Polygon Salt Crystals

Early morning down in Badwater looking at the polygons.   You know I'm in a new place with such interesting landscape that can be extreme.  Since being here at Death Valley National Park I'm more in shock at what comes out of people's mouth than the landscape or the heat.
When we as people isolate ourselves in communities we miss out on the world. As much as I love the parks, I see now how it can be just as separating as someone living all their life in Malibu or Anacostia. I must say I'm looking for the language to explain questions I get asked as if they will tell you who I am.
