Waiting to Exhale

Guess what? In six weeks I will be finished with my Masters. It feels good to be close to the finish of it. Did I say finish? Actually it is the beginning of long awaited completion of a collection of short stories. So I thought I would reflect on life for a minute. It's quiet in the desert even though I live in a small community in a national park. I like quiet. I figured this out finally. People, I love people and the sounds of life moving, intersecting with the human vibe. I love the rhythm of a work day when I/we accomplish a service, task that gives to the public. I love facebook too. I kept up with people who for some reason actually desire to be in my life. I hear people say its not really connecting however I believe differently. I must say besides my partner I have few friends who love and very actively engaging in the outdoors. So Facebook is one way to show them some of my adventures and they don't have to leave their comfort zones. Oh did I get off track. Okay so I got two kitty cats who have very different personalities. Nora is the whiner and needs to be up in my face. Patches wants her space and needs a rub when she dictates it.  They give my place a run for its money. Right now Nora is meowing for another rub. That will last for a few minutes. Sometimes I wish I had a play pen to put them in or the closet.
So it has been a while since I got to post or even show some photographs of where I have been. I'm going to share a couple and hope everyone enjoys. Also for those getting this please do log on and follow my blog page.  This is one way I can determine who is reading my material and get feedback on what they desire to hear next. So take a minute and follow my blog. Thanks.
