People of color of all sizes get outdoors. We do it our way and on our terms. Open Spaces Exploration is there to document our exploits in the wilderness. One favorite place is Death Valley National Park. A great place for my east coast buddies to experience during those grey and white winters of Washington DC, Philly and New York City.
This canyon isn't on the park map they hand out. It is one of the many hidden canyons or you get to be in the know of where and how to get to it. What is distinct about this canyon is the color of the rocks. Its purples, reds, green, yellow and white. A must hike in DEVA. Also wildflowers along the way it was like two hikes in one.
